• Lead the engineering process end to end; deciding how to best build, test, deploy, and monitor.
• Work with highly available, resilient, and fault tolerant modern systems.
• Perform analysis, design, development, and configuration with high degree of accuracy and speed based on product requirements.
• Refactor and improve on existing systems to ensure minimal technical debt.
• Working closely with the CTO and being an integral part of our team; in shaping our culture and how we work.

This is an exceedingly challenging role, but as a result the opportunity to learn and make a difference is incredibly high.

The position will initially be remote but you are expected to eventually relocate to Philadelphia, PA. We offer a clear path for career progression. This role also offers a path to director or VP role, with ownership in the company. We prioritise individuals who intend to stay for the long run.

• Solid understanding and adherence to software engineering principles.
• Strong coding ability in JavaScript, with experience in Node.js, React.js, and GraphQL.
• Experience with agile practices (TDD, BDD, ATDD, CI/CD).
• Passionate for writing clean and testable code.
• Familiar with automating unit and integration tests.
• Great communication and listening skills in English.
